Fun times ahead at Singapore’s Changi
It’s unusual when an airport becomes the holiday destination, but Singapore’s Changi has achieved just that with the recent opening of Jewel.
Jewel serves as a hub to link terminals 1, 2 and 3 and boasts a shopping mall as well as the Forest Valley indoor rainforest, Canopy Park, themed gardens and the largest indoor waterfall in the world.
Crowne Plaza Changi Airport is now offering a brand new package, ‘Stay, Shop, Play!’, for families to take advantage of the new attraction.
The hotel is located adjacent to Jewel, which boasts a plethora of fun activities. Alongside the towering HBBC Rain Vortex which dominates the ten-storey hub, there are 280 shops and dining venues plus loads of action for kids in The Canopy Park. Come nightfall, there is also an hourly sound and light show at the Rain Vortex, which runs between 7.30pm and 12.30am.
‘Stay, Shop, Play!’ includes overnight accommodation; Jewel Changi Airport Canopy Park tickets for two adults and one child, including access to the Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden and the Topiary Walk; daily buffet breakfast for two adults at the hotel’s Azur restaurant (kids under six years dine free); and a late check-out at 4pm. The room package starts from S$260 per night. www.changiairport.crowneplaza.com
