Plus, the hotel offers a fun room set-up for younger guests, including an in-suite tent filled with toys, welcome gifts, mini bathrobes, slippers, backpack and toothbrush. Le Meridien

Enjoy water views at Le Meridien Cyberport

Le Meridien Cyberport has launched Happy Child, Happy Family, a family-oriented package in Hong Kong’s leafy southside district.

Le Meridien is located in Cyberport, just at the point where the concrete starts to give way to the greener suburbs. It’s close enough to Central to be considered an ‘urban’ resort, but far enough away to make it feel like you’ve escaped the crowds.

The hotel also benefits from grassy lawns and parks that were built to enhance the neighbouring Cyberport office and retail complex – perfect for kids to play on. And if little legs need to be stretched further, Cyberport Waterside Park is just a short stroll away.

The family-friendly Happy Child, Happy Family staycation package includes one night’s accommodation in a Smart Room with a fun tent set-up and surprise welcome package, breakfast buffet, late check-out until 2pm and kids under 12 years eat free when they dine at Prompt.

Waterslides include the Marie Antoinette Tower with two giant tunnel slides, as well as the gentler Kiddie Slide, with mini shoots for tots.

And when it’s time to head inside and out of the sun, stroll over to the adjacent Qube Kingdom, a 2,000 square metre indoor and outdoor play area, which also includes Planet J, a role-playing adventureland with more than 200 interactive and virtual reality games. Qube Kingdom is suitable for children aged one to 17 years – just don’t forget your socks!
